“The pledge drive continues. If you haven’t subscribed, consider doing it now. It won’t take long. This site operates on the public radio model. It is free, but it can only continue if enough of you donate, subscribe and renew. If you haven’t subscribed, now would be a good time to do that.” https://www.jerrypournelle.com/sciencefiction/support-the-estate-of-dr-pournelle/

Love and hugs to Roberta and the rest of the family<3
Thanks for your continued support Michelle. We love having you as part of this community.
A very very Happy Mothers Day to you, Mrs. Pournelle. Hopefully it will be spent enjoying the goodwill and best wishes of many! And, of course, my greetings go out to the entire family. Good health, and best wishes to all.
Just a simple note of thanks for your years as part of our family, Mitch.
It has been both an honor and great fun.
Happy Mothers Day Mrs P from the United Kingdom! Best wishes to your whole family and I hope that you stay safe and healthy.
Mrs. Pournelle,
My very best wishes to you for a safe and joyous Mother’s Day.
I met Jerry in Chaos Manor in2013, You wer in bed not feeling well. Best to you on mothers day!
The family greatly appreciates your visit and Roberta thanks you for your well wishes.
We’ve never met, but I wish you all the best.
Miss you, Roberta. Miss Jerry. Be well and stay well.
Roberta,
I only met you one time. I was at your table along with Jerry and the Nivens during the Nebula awards sometime in the 80s. I was fortunate to sit next to you. I was blessed to be able to have a conversation with you. It has been a highlight in my life. We have a mutual friend, Bill Allen who was taught by Jerry when he was at Pepperdine. Bill taught me at Harvey Mudd College in the early 70’s
So indirectly you have influenced for the better through Jerry and Bill.
Blessings upon you
Thanks so very much for your note, Charles. Your message brought great warmth to Roberta.
While I never met either of you in person, I benefited greatly from time spent reading & occasionally corresponding with Jerry. It was clear from many of his comments on the blog that he both loved & respected you, Roberta. At one point, our family also benefited from using the reading program that the two of you developed from your work with non-readers. Thank you so much for that, & for the way that you clearly were a partner with Jerry. We appreciate you, & miss Jerry very much. I am glad that you are surrounded by family & helpers. May you have every blessing during the time until you are reunited with Jerry.
Love and (virtual, socially distanced) hugs on Mothers’ Day and every day!
Dear Roberta: I’m sorry we never met, but I’d like to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day! Best wishes and good health to all!
Dear Mrs. Pournelle,
I never knew your husband, but I did meet him once at a Worldcon. He signed my copy of A More in God’s Eye.
The same copy I gave my daughter to read, to introduce her to your husband ‘s wonderful stories.
Happy Mother’s Day
As a dedicated church musician, I learned of Jerry through Roberta. One of the most interesting persons I’ve ever met, I only wish we could have spent more time together. Never have I known anyone more invested in marriage than she: much of her life was lived in and through the family. Although Catholic, I was doing volunteer work in an Episcopal church in San Diego; it was there that I fell in love with her voice and devotion to God. She uplifted everyone with whom she came in contact. Now that I’ve explained to Chaos Manor why I’m here, I use this opportunity to wish you, Roberta, a Happy Mother’s Day with your family. I hope you’re still singing in the Traditional Latin Mass, one way or another, while staying at home.
Very best Mother’s Day wishes, Roberta. We met in Moscow in 1990 (or ’91; I forget). I remember thinking at the time “Jerry’s a lucky guy.” I still think so.

My respects to the late Jerry and Roberta Pournelle.
I came here on a link from https://www.jerrypournelle.com/sciencefiction/2020/06/08/all-the-works-by-jerry-pournelle/#comment-614 which offered the option of making a contribution towards website costs and receiving a free download of Subway to Sunrise. I don’t see how to do that. Is it still an option?
